When sleeping women wake, mountains move. – Chinese proverb
In a world deprived of sensual contact and feminine essence, we long for authentic intimacy and deep connection, to find our belonging again in the sacred matrix of life. There are ancient and archetypal pathways into this magical world our hearts know exists, and our souls guide us towards tapping into eros – our erotic nature and the sacred, creative life-force that permeates life. When eros flows within and through us, we feel comfortable in our own skin, vibrant, connected and in alignment with the flow of life. When it is blocked, we feel disconnected and depleted.
At the end of this era of separation and disconnection and as the Earth sheds its old skin, as women we are being called forth to deeply embody once again the gifts of our feminine essence and power, the code for which patiently resides within us, deep in our bones and our wombs. Like weeds that continue to thrive despite the concrete that surrounds them, this essence – our wildness – is stronger than any conditioning of shame, fear and disconnection we may have received throughout our lives, or inherited through our ancestry. As the feminine energy rises once again, our wombs and their reservoir of knowledge and power are being activated and await our loving and curious awareness.
Filiz Telek and Ruby May warmly welcome you into a space of gentle awakening: an invitation to unfurl and blossom into the radiance and magnificence we truly are as we rediscover, reconnect to and take ownership of our bodies and beings and our capacity for deep connection, feeling and sensual pleasure. Although sexual energy is mostly associated with either reproduction or lust, this is about awakening to our essential feminine nature as Creatrixes, as Priestesses connected to the web of life, taking our place again in our seat of power so that we may be in service to life.
We will work with a number of different mediums and practices, including:
- Dance and authentic movement, as a path to reclaiming the body & creative expression.
- Gentle womb yoga to connect to, activate and heal our wombs
- Tantric meditations to connect to our hearts & sexuality, supporting us to embrace our sexuality as a source of nourishment & power
- Ritual using the sacred plant medicine of raw Cacao, our perfect ally for this work
- Using different erotic archetypes to explore and embrace different facets of our sexual being
- Working with the circle as a way of harnessing our collective wisdom and speaking our truth
- Gentle bodywork to activate our capacity for pleasure
- Nature meditations
- Connecting to the wisdom of our menstrual cycle and the initiations of menarche and menopause
“and i said to my body. softly. ‘i want to be your friend.’ it took a long breath. and replied ‘i have been waiting my whole life for this.”– Nayyirah Waheed
Filiz’s home of Anatolia or Anadolu in Turkish means “full of mothers” or Turkey as you know it. The calling for this retreat comes from Anatolia, from the beloved land of Cybele and Artemis and many other Goddesses. We invite you to connect with Anatolia’s Feminine lineage & join our circle to strengthen the presence of the Feminine on this land. We will stay in a beautiful nature resort in Southern Turkey: Yuva (which means ‘nest’) Surrounded by mountains and forests and on the shore of holy Aegean Sea, we will be supported on our journey by a beautiful wild nature all around us.
“If we women learn to reveal our sensual nature we will discover a new natural power which can help to overcome violence and fear. This will only happen when we discover the deepest solidarity between women – knowing that we all share the same history of pain – we will also discover a new compassion and solidarity towards men – together we will create the system change – towards truth and life.” – Sabine Lichtenfels
It is this time precisely, when the seeming darkness and chaos are bringing a collective death all around us, to tap into this supernova life force to create new life, to respond to the call of evolution and become the bearers of new life, to give it all we have. The power to do this resides in our wombs; the joy and inspiration to create is activated through the liberation of sexual energy. This power is the same power that makes a seed blossom, same life force carrying nutrition from the roots of a tree to its fruits, same nectar the bee carries from a thousand flowers to her hive. It is the power and will and joy to create!

Filiz Telek is a circle host, process designer, poet/writer/visual storyteller, community organizer and a transition host whose purpose is to serve the transition of the humanity and the planet to the new paradigm by awakening a sense of possibility and sacred in human heart and soul. She is a devotee and emanation of Beauty in life, the beauty of the truth of what is; a pathfinder and a trailblazer.
On her own path of becoming an empowered and liberated woman for the new world, she shares her research and discoveries with other women in women circles and retreats, believing women together can awaken and move mountains with their feminine power. This path currently brings her to an intimate research about the healing power embedded in feminine sexuality. There is a deep longing in her to create sacred spaces for men and women to serve the healing of love. Filiz is the caller and co-creator of
“Women are Medicine” network, a (The Way of) Council carrier, a student of “Global Love School” at Tamera Ecovillage and a student of “Orphan Wisdom School” with Stephen Jenkinson. Find out more about Filiz here.
Ruby May is a truth-seeking, earth-loving, edge-dwelling creative visionary and facilitator, whose passion lies in the creation a new vision of power for a new world: the power of owning our shadows and all that we are, of having the courage to express ourselves transparently and authentically, of opening ourselves more and more to life: embracing the beauty and the pain, the chaos and all the magic. In this vision of power being connected to our deepest vulnerability, it is no longer something that separates us, but something that unites us, so that we can collaborate in harmony towards the creation of beauty and being in service to life.
Her gateway on her quest for truth has been the field of sexuality, and she brings over a decade of personal self-enquiry, research and experience working internationally in the field of Conscious Sexuality as a sacred intimate, sexological bodyworker, Tantric domina and workshop facilitator. She is currently doing an apprenticeship on the spiritual and personal development potential of studying the menstrual cycle and has dedicated this past year to the study of womb wisdom.

FAQ // Frequently Asked Questions //
This retreat is for every woman that seeks to take the brave and joyful step into reclaiming her full self, no matter her age, her past or life-experiences.
I feel quite nervous about coming and am not sure whether it’s quite right for me?
It’s completely normal to feel a sense of apprehension, nervousness or excitement, especially before we do something that might stretch us in new or less familiar ways. Throughout this journey, you are invited to honour wherever you are at and expand your boundaries at your own pace. Together we create a space of ‘permission’ rather than ‘pushing’ where every woman is celebrated for her unique presence and the gifts she brings. If you would like to talk to one of us before hand to ask any questions or get to know us a little, we can organise a skype conversation.
Will there be translation into Turkish?
Although we can translate the odd sentence, this retreat is in English, and so a comprehensive understanding and ability to communicate in English is required.
Will there be nudity?
There will be moments where participants will be gently invited to experience nudity, in safety and privacy of the group, if they choose to do so, with the intention of embracing the love, freedom and beauty of our bodies. There will never be a pressure or expectation to participate in nudity.
